BINTEO PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: October 17, 2026
Last Updated: October 17, 2026

1. Introduction

Binteo (“Binteo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by H&G Nextgen Private Limited, India.

Binteo is a social video and creator platform that enables users to discover videos, watch and create Reels, upload content, interact with creators, manage profiles, and access other features made available on the platform. Marketplace, monetization, subscription, and other services are subject to their availability and applicable terms.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect personal information when you access our website, mobile applications, and related services.

By using Binteo, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to read this Policy. Where consent is required by applicable law, we will obtain it through the appropriate process.

2. Information We Collect

The information we process depends on the features you use, the permissions you grant, and the information you provide.

2.1 Account and Registration Information

Depending on the registration method, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, country, username, authentication information, account identifiers, and information required for account recovery or verification.

We use this information to create and maintain accounts, authenticate users, secure accounts, provide support, and deliver platform functionality.

Passwords and authentication credentials must be handled using appropriate security practices. We do not intentionally display users' passwords to other users.

2.2 Profile Information

Information may include your profile name, username, photograph, biography, profile links, creator details, and other information you choose to provide.

Information designated as public may be visible to other users or the public. Do not place confidential information in a public profile.

2.3 Videos, Reels, Images, Audio and Other User Content

When you upload or create content, we may process video and image files, audio contained in media, captions, descriptions, thumbnails, categories, timestamps, and associated content metadata.

We use this information to store, process, display, stream, recommend, moderate, and distribute content according to platform functionality and your selected settings.

Content you publish publicly may be accessible to other users and, depending on the feature, people who do not have a Binteo account.

2.4 Camera, Microphone and Media Access

Where supported features require access to your camera, microphone, or device media, the application may request the relevant permission.

These permissions may support recording videos, creating Reels, taking profile photographs, selecting files for upload, or other user-initiated content creation activities.

Permission availability and behavior depend on your device and application version. You can manage applicable permissions through your device settings.

2.5 Marketplace and Creator Information

If marketplace, seller, business, creator, or monetization features are available and you choose to use them, we may process information such as business or creator profiles, contact details, listings, product or service information, uploaded documents, transaction records, and verification status.

Additional identity, tax, banking, or payout information will be collected only where the relevant service is implemented and the information is necessary for onboarding, verification, payments, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Confidential verification and financial information must not be displayed publicly. Where a third-party verification or payment provider is used, that provider may process the necessary information under its applicable terms and privacy practices.

2.6 Payment and Subscription Information

If paid services or subscriptions are offered, we or the relevant payment provider may process plan information, payment status, transaction references, subscription status, refunds, and records needed to support purchases and resolve disputes.

Payment card, banking, or other sensitive payment information may be processed directly by a payment provider where applicable. We do not claim to collect information that is not actually processed by our systems or providers.

2.7 Technical, Device and Log Information

Depending on the service and technical configuration, we may process IP addresses, browser and user-agent information, device type, operating system, application version, session information, diagnostic logs, security events, and identifiers required for authentication or platform operations.

We use this information to maintain reliability, troubleshoot problems, secure accounts, prevent fraud, and investigate misuse.

2.8 Notifications and Usage Activity

If push notifications are enabled, a notification token may be processed to deliver messages through a notification service.

We may also process activity information such as videos viewed, Reels viewed, likes, comments, follows, uploads, searches, reports, and other interactions supported by the platform. This information may be used for feeds, creator statistics, recommendations, security, moderation, and service improvement.

2.9 Location Information

We may process a country, address, or business location that you choose to provide for a relevant feature.

Precise device location is processed only if the applicable feature and technical implementation collect it with the required permission or other lawful basis. Do not assume that every Binteo feature accesses GPS location.

2.10 Cookies and Similar Technologies

The website may use cookies, session storage, local storage, or similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, support security, and provide website functionality.

You can manage applicable browser settings. Disabling certain technologies may affect some website features.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information, as applicable, to:

Create and manage user accounts.

Authenticate users and support account recovery.

Host, process, and deliver videos, Reels, and other content.

Provide social, creator, profile, and marketplace functionality.

Operate subscriptions or payments where available.

We will not use personal information for purposes incompatible with applicable law without an appropriate legal basis.

4. Public Content and User Responsibility

Information and content you choose to publish publicly may be viewed, copied, shared, or recorded by other people. Removing content from Binteo may not remove copies that other users or third parties have already made.

You should not publish passwords, one-time passcodes, private identity documents, bank details, or other confidential information in public posts, comments, profiles, or listings.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information as a general business practice.

We may disclose relevant information to:

Service providers: Hosting, storage, content delivery, video processing, authentication, notification, security, support, analytics, payment, and verification providers, where actually used.

Other users and the public: Content and profile information that you intentionally publish or make visible through platform features.

Legal and safety purposes: Where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, enforce our policies, protect safety, or defend legal rights.

Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of relevant business assets, subject to applicable law.

We limit sharing to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose and take appropriate steps to protect information.

6. Third-Party Services

Binteo may rely on third-party infrastructure and services for hosting, storage, content delivery, notifications, authentication, payments, or other functionality.

Third-party services operate under their own applicable terms and privacy policies. The specific providers and data processed must be reflected accurately in our production implementation and disclosures.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, and misuse. Measures may include access controls, authentication, secure transmission, logging, monitoring, and restricted administrative access.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect their credentials and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including account operation, content delivery, security, support, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.

Retention periods depend on the type of information and the reason it is held. When information is no longer required, we will take appropriate steps to delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal requirements.

9. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Binteo account and associated personal information through the account-deletion functionality provided in the service and through our external account-deletion webpage:

Account deletion webpage: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1c1VXYI1RDpnUIj7g7jKt_PV2zw0h8z3I9Q-8bZscv5Q/edit

We may request reasonable verification to protect against unauthorized deletion requests. We will process valid requests within the applicable legal timeframe.

Account deletion is not satisfied merely by suspending, disabling, or freezing an account. We will delete associated personal information as required by applicable law, subject only to legitimate and lawful retention requirements.

Some records may need to be retained for a legally required period or for legitimate purposes such as completed transactions, accounting, fraud prevention, security investigations, and legal disputes. Where retention is necessary, access and use will be limited to the relevant purpose.

Deleting an account may remove or affect access to its profile, uploads, comments, and other account-associated information, subject to technical limitations and lawful retention requirements. Information already copied or shared by others may remain outside our control.

10. Children's Privacy and Age Restrictions

Users must meet the minimum age requirements applicable to Binteo and the features they use. Features involving restricted content may require additional age screening or access controls.

We do not intend to collect children's personal information in violation of applicable law. If you believe that a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us so we can review the matter and take appropriate action.

Where age restrictions apply, we will use the screening and access controls implemented for the relevant service. Users must not misrepresent their age or use the platform to exploit or endanger children.

11. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to exercise other rights relating to its processing.

You can also manage applicable device permissions and notification settings through your device or browser.

To submit a privacy request, contact us using the details in Section 14. We may need to verify your identity and may be subject to lawful exceptions.

12. International Processing

Service providers may process or store information in locations outside your state or country, depending on the infrastructure used. Where applicable, we will take steps required by law to support lawful transfers and appropriate protection.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our features, data practices, service providers, security measures, or legal obligations change.

We will update the effective date and provide notice of material changes where required. The current version will be published on our website and made accessible through the application.
